What a weekend, I did lots of cooking, fixing and throwing things away. It's almost the end of the year and I notice lots of hustle and bustle - people moving in, and others moving out. Dressed appropriately - do not show up in pajama pants & flip flops, or dressed like a gang banger or like you just came from playing basketball.
Control your children - If you have no one to leave your children with, don't let them run around, while you are looking at the apartment
Come Prepared to take it if you like it - Bring your paystubs, references, credit report & a deposit.
Credit Report - If you have discrepencies in your credit report try to offer the landlord 2 month's deposit.
If you have a pet, offer him a pet deposit, and lastly...

Creative Promotion

I spent the last two days promoting my listings and networking. There are so many ways you can build a network in the Internet so you can get the word about your properties.

I recently learned how to make a movie and was able to join a couple of networking sites. However, the most challenging job this week is balancing my job with my household responsibilities. With a new baby girl you basically have to work around her schedule until she gets a little older.

Today 6 more listings came in: 2 in Queens and 4 in Brooklyn. All 3 bedroom apartments located on Decatur Ave, Kings Highway and Linden Blvd.

The apartment in Queens in located in a nice residentail area near Ovid Place and the other in 110th Ave. I have lots of contacts to take care of seeing that they won't last too long. Anyone know of a good website that stores photos?

Starting Over

What a way to start off my week! , I went to update my home computers with this new upgrade they sent me and it completely deleted everything! It didnt even give me the option to save my files. Boy was I pissed off, I do have a partial list somewhere, but what bothered me most was all the photos I took of my new baby girl. Unfortunately 80% are all gone :0( So the first thing I did was take a bunch of photos of her sleeping, eating, laughing and playing, Its like I was trying to capture all 6 weeks in one day!

On a good note, this morning I look in my inbox and i find 3 new listings: 2 beds/2 bath in Dekalb Ave, Bklyn for $1550 & $1750, and a 2 bedroom in Greenpoint for $1400 (sounds reasonable for Greenpoint). Beautiful spacious apartments which is rare in these areas, these apartment certainly won't last.....
